Cathing the Light

On the left you can see part of the Annapurna South’s(7,219m) massive wall(the very peak is not in the frame here) and on the right is Machapuchare (6,993m).

The Fire Within

Just a few more weeks and we’re off for another Iceland Winter Wilderness tour. It’s always great fun, and I’m curious what the weather gods will be throwing at us this time. This image was shot on a calm morning on last year’s trip.

I used the LucrOit filter system, fitted with a ND density filter, for my Nikon 14-24 to slow down the shutter speed to about half a second. If you’re interested in getting this filter system yourself, make sure to use this code for a 10% discount: MARSEL10

Silence is Golden

Thank you for viewing, voting and/or any constructive comments which I will answer in a short while….
I was taking a photograph of the sunset…the sun had a golden glow which lit up the mountains….a lone paraglider flew into view…I managed three shots before he went up on a thermal into the clouds…he must have had 30 minutes flying time before darkness….they land on waste ground in Adeje village…they are a common sight on the mountain in late afternoon…

The Pinnacles

The Pinnacles are limestone formations within Namburg National Park, near the town of Cervantes, Western Australia. Nice, very interesting place to visit.
